Me and Kevin Massey travelled from London by coach to stay with Alison who was studying at Bradford University. We stayed in her hall of residence. It was a daunting experience - one of her room mates had been murdered just a few weeks earlier by the Yorkshire Ripper. As we walked back to Alison's place after the gig - we imagined him on every corner....
