Had a great evening at the Hello Quo premiere at the Odeon West End, Leicester Square.

Great movie. Touching. Funny. Informative. Reflective. Well done Alan G Parker.

Jim Lea features five or six times in the movie and tells a few tales... Without giving anything away, Margarita Time on TOTPs is featured and talked about... (get my drift). Jim also mentions about the first time he met Quo - when they were on the same bill at Manchester University.

Finally, after the movie had finished, Paul Gambaccini lead a Q&A with Quo and Alan G Parker onstage. The first question that he said (to Rick Parfitt) was "Andy Priest (!!) from Sweet was featured in the movie. He wore some great outfits, did you ever want to glam it up?".

Rick responded that he always admired Dave Hill and wished he could wear outfits like his. However, as Quo had previously had trouble with their image (in the 1960's) - he decided to stick with the denim.

Catch the DVD that contains three extra hours footage to the film (that was 2 1/2 hours only itself)!

PS Great to chat with Slade fan Iggy while waiting to go in...
